| Review by Doc_Holliday (North Texas) 2009-12-18 The unit powers up in a reasonable time and the remote control device is easy to navigate. The single HDMI uplink eliminates cable clutter. The RJ-45 network port makes it easy to connect the device to the internet and download firmware upgrades and new features. I'm completely pleased with the quality and performance of this Blu-Ray player. ... Read more Panasonic DMP-BD35K 1080p reviews | ||

| Review by C. Malloy (USA) 2010-01-22 I have had great luck with this Blu-ray player and got a great deal on it over the holidays. I would definitely recommend it and may even buy another one for the other room in my house. Last night a recent disc (Inglorious Basterds) refused to play past the menu screen. Seems that a few other reviewers on here have had the same experience. I wa... Read more Magnavox Blu-ray Disc reviews | ||

| Review by M. Devlin (Austin, TX USA) 2010-03-08 Bought this mainly for the BluRay player, but I have been looking for a good VHS player combo for the occasional VHS tape we have (at least until I get all of my tapes converted to DVD!). The only thing that I found frustrating was the key entry for VieraCast functions (YouTube, etc). It is pretty awkward. A Bluetooth or USB keyboard would h... | Review by Steve (Atlanta, GA) 2010-03-06 Very pleased with the hardware aspects. Easy set-up, great picture and sound. HOWEVER - the Panasonic press release from January 6, 2010 clearly says that many new features are available with Viera Cast the internet streaming function. Yes, Netflix is available but everything else (especially Pandora is not available and when Panasonic Customer S... Read more Panasonic DMP-BD85 WiFi reviews | ||

| Review by James Liaw (Rockville, Maryland, USA) 2010-02-03 This product (so far) is exactly as advertised. My wife was able to play a DVD from overseas without any issues. This is my first blue-ray player and it hooked up to my Panasonic Viera Plasma in no time at all. Thanks Amazon for saving me $100! It was that much cheaper than going to a popular all-region DVD player seller! ... Read more Panasonic DMP-BD60 All reviews | ||

| Review by John L. Holt (Little Rock, Arkansas USA) 2010-03-04 I upgraded from a DMP-BD30. Probably was not worth the money as the BD30 put out as good a sound and video as the BD80. The only reason I did not give this unit 5 stars as it will not update my firmware or allow me to burn a firmware update for a Mac. I assume it works for a PC. If there is a firmware update I can order it from Panasonic for ar... Read more Panasonic DMP-BD80 High reviews | ||

| Review by Mark D. Maxwell (AZ) 2009-12-27 If you Google this problem, you'll see that I'm not the only one. Unit plays regular DVDs fine. Won't play Blue Ray discs anymore after only 18 months. | Review by Don Karnage (San Ramon, CA USA) 2010-03-10 For the price, I think this is an excellent blu-ray player. It also does very good with DVD up-conversion and makes DVDs look fantastic. The player has worked reliably for me so far and hasn't had any problems with any of the movies I've thrown at it. As with all blu-ray players, it's slow getting ready to play a movie when you first put it in. ... Read more Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray reviews | ||

| Review by A.M.Boughey (Rochester, MN) 2010-03-05 5 Stars sounds really generous, but for the money this is a GREAT Network ready BDP. This is the third network BDP I have set up and used, I recently reviewed the Samsung BD-P1590 - Blu-Ray disc player - upscaling - Netflix, Pandora against which (for similar money) this is a far superior machine. I also think the picture quality and upscalin... Read more Panasonic DMP-BD65 Blu-Ray reviews | ||
